Virtual Meet and Greets.

Given many people’s experiences of recent alterations to multiple different routines, social anxiety and stress are on the rise. Isolation has been a term that has taken on new meanings for us as a people and staying safe and well has involved keeping each other at a physical distance.

Virtual meet and greets should have increased and filled the emotional void and in many ways the technology routes to social event inclusion have helped.

Spirits regularly refer to emotional wellbeing as being associated to happiness. Being able to share screen time with loved ones, has over recent times, so often been a positive experience and an answer to what would have otherwise been problematic to say the least. An enhancing challenge, many various platforms have allowed people to network like never before. People who would have never, or thought they could not ever sign in to the social possibilities of the virtual, discovered a new way to keep up while keeping well and staying safe.

I think it is important to keep an eye on what is going on and in social media terms, live your best life, but do it in a way that is genuine. Fear, sadness and other emotional distress that needs talking out can actually diminish conversational barriers and even in a technological setting, should not enhance your stress, but lessens it. As many people start to look at a new normal of their own, a lot of people might feel the way you do and if used as a positive and proactive means for support and sharing, newer innovations can enable compassionate conversing and all at the touch of a few buttons.
