Blue is a colour of focus and meditation.  Blue is a healing shade, a bond to the deep blue sea and a sky scene.  Most closely concerned with spiritualism and tied into healing, it is used to help sooth and replenish.

On the optical spectrum it as a colour is placed beside violet and green.  The tone of sensitive well being, it personifies a cool but vivid aid to the spirit.

Lapis Lazuli is a stone which depicts the blue shade and has been used for generations throughout Iran, the Mediterranean and far East states.  It is a stone used and appreciated for its aesthetic look but also a spiritual basis.  As far back as the Romans first saw its benefits and became widely agreeable to its place in society and community.  2500BC was the earliest frame as to be known when blue was primarily found as a medium which could be visually instrumental in cloth, design and object patterns.

In Egypt blue was considered to ward against evil and used in the process of burials.  The colour was blended to give off a rich and deep shade which was then believed to posess attributes which could aid in spiritual relief and positivity.

Divinity and certain purity symbols have been conveyed in this colour as it was thought to have once been one only used by the working class, the more modest and thereby nearer to selfless population.

The Celts and Germans painted their faces blue to frighten enemies and it was thereby decided by noble Romans at the time to be a tone linked with envasion and anxiety.

The period was known for its feelings, instinctive approach and interpretation of colours.  It was a vital and strong basis for understanding.  The older Celts would dye their hair blue and this in itself denoted a type of belief of wisdom and experience which could be related to it.  Raphael, one of the most respected painters of the Renaissance age used blue as an enhancement of landscape and portraiture.  Paintings were a visual illusion of morals, entertainment and faith which moreover helped to establish the backgrounds and capture a freezeframe of life.  Blue, was used by painters of the era to work in conjunction with red as a distancing and luring of the sight technique, as blue is a bright pigment which when seen by the lense will give dimension and width to a picture.  If looking to mountains in the back or far away bredth from a person they will take on a bluish tint because of the method by which it is broken down.  It could be said red and this combination of cobolt or indigo can be used together for exceptional effect.

Blue is felt to link itself with excellence, high times of benefit and richness.

Thailand has a belief that blue should be associated with Fridays and anyone born on that day can adopt blue as their colour.

The colour blue can be thought of as a means of liberty as it comes as mandatory in naval uniforms, army and police departments.  The colour is worn by these officials as it was believed to show authority without menace.

The blue we know is one that can have a spiritual essence.  In spirit circles it is known to be easily seen when in the form of orbs.  It is well situated within most healing prayres and openings as it is known to positively reinforce a stated and relaxed stance.

In politics, George Washinton chose blue to give identity to his orginsations.  In England blue is the tone used to surround the Conservative party.  The official aspect is ustilised against the more sedate and hypnotising elements.

As blue is in some means an opposition to Red which was featured previously it is a good point upon which to show how vital colour interpretation is and how differed their meanings can be.  In cultures and through history the shading, use of implements, apparel and tools could be linked with pigments.  The classification of whether they brought positive or other influences into lives was all based on its look and the vibrancy.

In spirit sittings colours are used by spirit.  It can be through the means of an aura or even in the first sighting of a manifestation.

Colours are extra ordinary parts of our world.  The fragments, hazes and hues passed through the shades, if fully comprehended, can be essential in building and defining a better health, informative view of how these small decisions of selecting them can build for a more complete, happier and restored sense.   Pic is taken from online encyclopedia.
