Home circle.
Here is a summary of our home circle.
Home circle held on 24th March 2015.
A physical séance of information, activity and interesting correlated dates.
There were blue orbs, notable cracks heard all around the séance room, references to the temp fluctuation in the séance, unexplained sounds of talking, smells and an odd materialisation noted in the physical séance.
Richard Arthur Beckinsale (6 July 1947 – 19 March 1979) was the first spirit noted in the séance. Richard Beckinsale was an English actor, best known for his roles as Lennie Godber in the popular BBC sitcom Porridge (along with a sequel series Going Straight) and as Alan Moore in the British sitcom Rising Damp. In the séance members had noted blue lights in frequented number over one wall. It was not long after this sighting of the blue lights thought to be orbs that the medium stated a male spirit in the room. A male who had loved to live life quickly, to be a stand alone and a support, he was an interesting spirit as his heart was what he indicated several times. Richard was the name he spoke of and he said two other names, one being a Jenny and one Samantha. Richard talked of acting and of life being over quickly, his aims and what he did in life were not the same but he loved what his life had offered and he showed images of longer hair and prison clothes, at first it was thought he actually had been in prison in life but this was soon dismissed as the spirit, we were told laughed at this comment from one of the members, a series of cracks were also noted as this laughter took place. He acted in a prison show he said, he referenced another male who he spent time with and talked of an R name as being his friend, a comedian and a good gentle guy. It was later thanks to research thought that the R name which was referred to may be that of Ronnie Barker who worked with him at the same time that they were in a prison show.
Information in the séance was noted as from the male spirit saying the name of Samantha, this was noted and later placed as in research it was identified that Richard Beckinsale is the father of actresses Samantha Beckinsale and Kate Beckinsale, the Samantha was put forward as a possible daughter reference.
Beckinsale was born in Carlton, Nottinghamshire, to an Anglo-Burmese father, Arthur John Beckinsale, and an English mother, one Margaret Barlow. He left Alderman White Secondary Modern School at 15 with ambitions to become an actor, so while working in numerous manual jobs he also enrolled at a Nottingham adult drama class. It was because of his love for acting and his talent that he won a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, turning professional in 1968. Having moved to Crewe to begin in repertory theatre, he then made his television debut in 1969 as a police officer in Coronation Street, in which he had to arrest veteran character Ena Sharples.
In the séance the spirit talked of a lady, a fine actress, someone who won his heart and made him a better man. There was no name, although it was for a ten minute period that the medium aimed to get a name, only information about the lady was spoken of and this was as a person of whom Richard stated he wrote poems about, who had his heart in her hands, who worked as an actress and who felt as if she was the other half of his life.
David Lloyd George, 1st Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor, OM PC (17 January 1863 – 26 March 1945) was a British Liberal politician, he was a statesman and he is thought to be the second male spirit in that of the physical séance. His anniversary of passing is only two days from that of when the séance sat.
As Chancellor of the Exchequer (1908–1915), it was Lloyd George who was a key figure in the introduction of many reforms which laid the foundations of the modern welfare state. His most important role came as the highly energetic Prime Minister of the Wartime Coalition Government (1916–22), this was during and immediately after the First World War. It is interesting that the spirit talked of history overshadowing that of the day you live in as it is that today we have once again a Coalition government.
There was an odd chill in the air as the spirit was referenced and a moment or two after this was noted members started to refer to a white shape in the room. The white shape was not easily noted for what it was as it was a smoky white form, it appeared for a few seconds and all too quick it went from sight.
In the few minutes after what was seen there was an interesting voice activity from one side of the room, it was as people were talking, there was no one to be physically depicted and the voices were noted by several of the members.
The spirit in the séance talked of office, his life in the public eye and his aim to lead a land. Lloyd was the name which was referred to, the spirit was able to refer to his life as a leader and a man who never took a laid back approach. It was that Lloyd George was a major player at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919 that reordered Europe after the defeat of Germany in the Great War. He arguably made a greater impact on British public life than any other 20th-century leader, thanks to his pre-war introduction of Britain’s social welfare system, it was his idea on what could be in life, his leadership in winning the war, his post-war role in reshaping Europe and his partitioning Ireland (between the Irish Free State and Northern Ireland which remained part of the UK), it was as he planned and prepared for what could be that this one man’s leadership defined a country in name.
As the last Liberal to serve as Prime Minister, the last man of politics reference noted, is matched in this life link. Parliamentary support for the coalition premiership was mostly from Conservatives rather than Liberals and this split led to the long-term decline of that party as a serious political force. Although he became leader of the Liberal Party in the late 1920s, he was unable to regain power, and by the 1930s he was marginalised and there were a lot of critical opinions on him as a leader.
In the séance the spirit was noted as a man who was smartly dressed. He was noted as there was a smell of smoke in the séance, members were shocked by how strongly they depicted the smell and then how quickly it went. The smell lasted for a three to four minutes in the séance.
The timing of occurrence in a physical séance is as interesting as the information and research evidence itself. In referencing spirit dialogue two strong male individuals were noted in that of an actor and a former well known Prime Minister. The laughter which was noted and the cracks on the walls interested me as there was a physical evidence which supported the spirit information. It is odd that the two noted male spirits had passing dates which were closely linked. The two were that of two opposites in life, one who was known for his positive outlook on life and one who was negatively viewed as having a sometimes defeatist approach to issues.
One can not classify a physical séance according to information or activity which has been referenced, there may be links or points which could be argued represent a reasonable thought as to why two figures may be noted together but as this séance has shown two individuals from two different arenas in life with different personality traits and who have never met in life could appear and be at the heart of information in a physical séance.
Many thanks to the séance for their participation, their observed notes and all their post séance research reference.
