Home circle held on 13th January 2015. A séance is a good opportune period of time in which an investigation can be explored into spirit presence. Members will be able to examine information, physical activity and a number of reports into spirit claims fully and until the claims are verified or established. In this last séance there were many points of interest in the investigation regarding Robert Nesta “Bob” Marley OM (6 February 1945 to 11 May 1981) someone who was a Jamaican reggae singer and songwriter, he was a well known man to many as a musician, and guitarist who achieved international famous recognised notoriety and acclaim.
The investigation was interesting to sit in with noises of an unexplained nature being noted all around the area in which the members were sat. Cracking and knocking could be heard in short periods on the walls around where the séance was being held. The cracking was odd as there was nothing occurring outside of the room or inside which could explain the noise and the link appeared to be in timing as every time one of the mediums would talk of spirit regarding information they could note or in asking if spirit were there the noises would start again. Several of the members noted the odd cracks and then for the purposes of the investigation it was suggested that it be put out as a question if spirit were responding through noise could they please do something else. It was at that minute in time that another noise was noted in the form of foot falls. It did appear to the sitters for a few minute period that someone was walking around their seats, there was an accompanying coolness and smell of strong cologne. Several of the members reports linked to the smell that seemed to come and go within two minutes. It was as one of the mediums mentioned the name of Bob Marley as the spirit she was seeing that the smell went completely and information started to be noted on the male spirit the medium was reporting and what he was doing.
It is referenced in many spirit séance investigations that if physical connections such as smell are evidenced then there may be something else which occurs in reference to this same activity on the statement of the name of the person who is performing the action. In the investigation it was as the name of Bob Marley was stated that the physical smell went from the séance and as a piece of evidence separate to that of the information and sighting of the spirit from the medium, it was thought to be by the séance as strong validation. The medium said the spirit of the male was standing boldly with longer hair and an expression of interest as to what was happening. He linked with his name and the date of the 13 January, which was the date of when the séance had sat. In research of Bob Marley, starting out in 1963 it was with the group the Wailers, he forged a distinctive song writing and vocal style of which would later resonate with audiences worldwide. The Wailers would go on to release some of the earliest reggae records along with producer Lee Scratch Perry and while Bob Marley was seen in spirit the séance reported a number of pings and metallic noises from inside the séance. After the Wailers disbanded in 1974, Marley pursued a solo career which culminated in the release of his album Exodus in 1977 which established his worldwide reputation and produced his status as one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time. He was well loved and had sales of more than 75 million records. He was a committed Rastafari who infused his music with a strong sense of spirituality.
The medium spoke of the spirit referenced as Bob Marley indicating the date 13 and the month of January, he was very keenly holding his arm out as if in a posture of someone holding a gun. In research into what was shown by the spirit this headline was found referencing the Midnight Raver Archives: Bob Marley – The Shooting of a Wailer by Cameron Crowe, January 13, 1977. It is interesting as the reference from spirit was particular to a shooting image and in the link was In an article referring to what happened, Los Angeles – It was that Bob Marley, one of the world’s best-known reggae performers and three other persons were shot December 3rd when seven gunmen burst onto the grounds of Marley’s home in Kingston, Jamaica, where he and his band, the Wailers, were rehearsing. Miraculously, amid a shower of bullets, from which there were no fatalities. The medium referenced the spirit as claiming 11 and having said this over again along with the name Ziggy, in research it was found that Marley had eleven children of which his eldest with wife Rita was David Nesta “Ziggy” Marley.
As a séance there was several evidential and moments of interest particularly in that of Bob Marley showing his arm and leg as having been injured and referencing a gun attack in an article which was published on the date which could then be researched and found to be validated. It is interesting that this subject was linked with spirit at this time when so much violence in gun terrorist threat is occurring.
The activity in the séance of the coolness, the noises of cracking and pings, the sense of someone walking around seats of the members and the smell all were noted as evidence. In research of Bob Marley it was also notable that the anniversary of his birthday is not long from that of when the séance sat.
