Each investigation into a physical seance is held in a room which is closed for the duration of the participation. Experienced members and medium gathered together and sat in fully visible positions to each other and all of the objects in the room.
The seance was officially opened and within the first few minutes ORBS were sighted. Small, blue circular unexplained lights were seen for a few seconds each and at different times in the investigation. The lights could not be explained by any other environment or person based cause from inside or outside of the seance room as having caused them at that time.
MESSAGES were given by the medium from individuals in spirit to the seance. The medium spoke about personality traits, personal information, details about individual preferences and particular memories. Distinct messages were then transferred from individuals in spirit to members.
On one occasion of speech noted between spirits and members, one of the sitters reported that the answer given to her was to what she had only a short while previously thought about in her own mind, as wanting to both say aloud and ask.
A NOISE was collectively heard and it was thought to have come from the area where all of the objects had been placed. Moments after a message had been given about lots of young individuals in spirit having been seen, there was a tapping noise heard from above the objects and the table.
The medium spoke of a gentleman actor and gave details for someone believed to be a Peter William Postlethwaite, OBE (7 February 1946 – 2 January 2011) an English actor who appeared in many highly notable films. He had a transatlantic breakthrough because of his talent and his international reputation was further solidified when he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He went on to appear in a wide variety of films. In television he had major success, he trained as a teacher and taught drama before training as an actor. After having worked with him, director Steven Spielberg publicly referred to him in terms which signified him, as an absolutely exceptional director. He was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2004 New Year Honours list. Less than one month after his passing, he was nominated for a BAFTA Award. In the seance, the gentleman was keen to talk about dedication being the way to achievement. Focus, drive and dedication were contributors towards what he thought of as a route to success. Dreams were potent, he explained, because without them nobody would have ever done anything meaningful.
SUMMARY of the spoken about experiences and collectively claimed events led to discussion about what had been noted. Members talked of what had been significant for them, both in an individual sense and as part of the seance group observation. One useful means of dialogue was established through validation referral and finding out why sitters could verify the parts of the messages that they had felt to be relevant as evidence. There were several occasions whereby recipient sitters had experienced Orb sightings and the one reference to the noise but for each of these times, members spoke of having been very aware of what they had either audibly or visibly noted during the seance.
