Here is a summary of our home circle.
Home circle held 2nd June 2020.
Hi and Welcome to the latest blog!
Each and every séance sitting can be different, although the preparations for it are similar.
Experienced members and MEDIUM joined in a closed room. MESSAGES were given from individuals in spirit to the room via the medium.
As the specific MESSAGES were being referred to, a quite distinct and strong SCENT of flowers entered the séance area. The FLORAL scent did appear to have a meaning as it was noted during one message between a female in spirit and several sitters. The female in spirit, a relative, was depicted in action of holding a known object to the recipients of her message and they explained that she would often put that scent purposefully upon that same referenced and personal object. Physically, it was also notable that the scent which had been fragrant, only lasted a few minutes in time before disappearing from the séance room seemingly completely.
The medium then referred to a gentleman in spirit, a writer of which several romantic poets were also important to, a person thought to be a Thomas Hardy(2 June 1840 – 11 January 1928) an English novelist and poet. A realist of the time in the tradition of George Eliot, he was influenced both in his novels and in his poetry by Romanticism, especially William Wordsworth. He was highly critical of much in society, especially on the declining status of rural people in Britain, such as those from his native South West England. In the séance, the gentleman in spirit spoke about knowing what he had wanted to write about from early adolescence. He talked about values permeating through events in history and resonating specifically with some people, these same individuals could make momentous alterations to prospective societies through their own ability to note and make personal perspectives apparent. Research after the séance showed that the same gentleman in spirit’s anniversary for a birthday was on the same day that the physical séance had sat.
SUMMARY of the physical séance led to members talking about what they had experienced. Validations were spoken about in terms of how relevant the particular information had been for them and why this could be thought of as evidence. The physical scent had appeared reasonably meaningful. Personally affiliated to past experiences and occurrences, the members felt that they had gained a fulfilling reference of known individuals in spirit, for them.
