What is a PHYSICAL SEANCE?
A physical séance is in a most basic form, an arena in which visible, audible or tangible proof of spirits can be noted. The objectivity in such investigations is paramount, as without it, there can be no basis for any further claims or findings. Discernible spirit evidence could be observed, in the form of sightings, audible references or physically claimed experiences.
In a prepared, checked and closed room, a centrally laid table had been arranged with pre-selected objects which would only make a noise, upon any known or seen interaction. Visibly, everybody was sat facing each other and in full view of all the objects.
EXPERIENCES started from the first few minutes after the actual physical séance was opened. ORBS were one of the noted observations and these were deep blue circles of lights which appeared and were seen for a few seconds in time. Unexplained noises were also heard but this will be explained further below.
MESSAGES were received from spirit individuals to sitters and these came via the medium. At first, the information and specifics in terms of personality traits or names came through. If the sitter could validate any of the given information, only then, more in-depth messages were taken further.
NOISES were collectively heard and these were seemingly responsive taps on the inner walls which came in response to posed questions from sitters. The noises could be heard, going off as in taps on either walls subsequent to a sitter’s mentioning and asking if a specific spirit was in conversation with the physical séance.
The MEDIUM referred to a particular lady and information was given about someone believed to be a Dame Thora Hird, DBE(28 May 1911 – 15 March 2003) an English actress and comedienne of stage and screen, presenter and writer. In a career spanning over 70 years, she appeared in more than 100 film and television roles, becoming a household name and a British institution. A three-time winner of the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. In the séance the lady emphasised humour as a trait that was a saviour in life and she appreciated how the children significantly brought her to mind on the anniversary.
SUMMARY
It was useful to be able to collectively discuss the sightings of Orbs and the noises, in this way possible explanations could be thought about and reasons put forward as for why these incidents had been noted as a part of the physical séance. Physically nothing could explain how the occurrences had been experienced from inside or outside of the séance room but both the Orbs and the noises had helped to provide insight at different points in the investigation. Clarity had been given as for a spirit identity through the noise on the wall and the Orb had been seen prior in minutes to information then being given about a spirit individual who had a message for one of the sitters. At each stage of the séance, validations were required in various forms ranging from exact acknowledgements from sitters about the personal relevance of a message or spirit references, to collective opinion of the physical experiences and evidence gathered in the physical séance.
