Hello and Welcome to the blog on a physical séance!

What is a PHYSICAL séance?

A physical séance is particularly intent on focusing thought and queries on overtly seen, audible or physically notable experiences. In a checked and prepared room, experienced members and medium gathered. Everybody sat facing each other and in full view of the objects which had been pre-chosen and specifically laid out.

HOW DID IT BEGIN?

Collectively the séance observed as the medium engaged in a closed eyes trance. It was from this trance that the medium began to refer to individual personalities, quite detailed traits, appearances and certain names. If a sitter or sitters could validate particular information that they would accept it and a further more in-depth message was given.

MESSAGES and in particular LANGUAGES were brought to the fore. It was through a number of different spirit entities that diverse examples of cultural backgrounds and heritages were shown.

LOST IN TRANSLATION?

Several recipients of messages were able to verify and validate who the spirit speakers were who spoke to them via the medium. Languages of which there were many, came in as natively spoken by the different spirits but while the sitters accordingly could understand and validate the meaning of what was said to them, other spirits who started to converse with the séance became fluidly and easily able to talk with each other. The examples of these messages were incredibly useful in answering the question of if spirits could display and evidence a use of language knowledge. While each spirit remained fluent in that of their native tongue, several demonstrated the ability to not only listen but to respond to the other, but in their own chosen language.

ORBS were observed and this was extremely pertinent at a particular juncture when primarily only the bright, round blue light was seen in the séance and then as it faded, a spirit was noted. The lady in spirit went on to be referenced, recognised and later validated by the recipient sitter, who could accept evidence of personally given memories about and from her.

It was depicted that SMELLS came in strongly, rapidly then leaving the séance room with no known explanation as for how they had been caused. This experience of smells prior to a spirit message being conveyed occurred twice in the séance.

The medium referred to a gentleman in spirit, a person thought to be a Jonathan Swift (30 November 1667 – 19 October 1745) an Anglo-Irish satirist, an essayist, political pamphleteer (first for the Whigs and then for the Tories), poet and cleric who became Dean of a Cathedral in Dublin. It was as a result of the information links given during the séance itself that it was believed the gentleman in spirit to be a Johnathan Swift and he spoke of the importance in finishing the tasks that had been started. Integrity was close to his heart, he exclaimed and he felt that this came through as a recurring theme in many of his chosen objectives.

A SUMMARY of the physical séance led to members examining what they had collated in terms of information, experience and observed activity. The meaning behind many of the messages was deemed important by several of the recipients, who could then support why this was believed to be so, by them. Neither the Orb nor the Smells could be explained by a physical instigator as in an object from inside or outside of the room where the séance had been in progress. The members agreed that evidence of the Orb was meaningful as it was experienced prior to the sighting of a spirit. This experience was believed to be extremely relevant to the physical séance.
