A physical séance is an arena in which specific, overt unexplained activity is looked out for and if seen, evaluated. The medium and members who attended this recent physical séance, did so, in a closed and prepared room. The members all sat in full visibility of each other and in line of sight of the objects that had been laid out.
The medium talked about two blue orbs seen together, two individuals in spirit and particularly a gentleman who was seen. Information was given about a male who is believed to be Richard Burton, CBE (born Richard Walter Jenkins Jr.; 10 November 1925 – 5 August 1984) a Welsh actor. A public figure noted for his mellifluous baritone voice, it was that Burton established himself as a formidable Shakespearean actor in the 1950s. He gave a memorable performance of Hamlet in 1964. One of the two spirits was further discussed and the medium gave details for a lady and a person who wished to express a sentiment of happy birthday. Love and an anniversary were mentioned as references significant to the couple in spirit. There was a lot of links to opulence and happiness that came through with them. Comedy was spoken of as something important to the both of them.
Messages then came through from spirits to sitters via the medium. These were in-depth and included references to individuals and conversational messages that were acknowledged and validated by the recipients.
Smells were depicted and these were particular scents that came strongly and suddenly into the séance but disappeared relatively quickly once they were noted. The experience of the smells included several of the sitters denoting and describing what they could smell.
Orbs were seen during the séance. These unexplained lights were blue in colour and each seen for a matter of seconds. The Orbs were noted during times in which speech was ongoing about a spirit or spirits.
Members remained quiet during the actual séance unless they were responding to a direct message to them or in referring to a response of what they had seen. The séance was kept particularly alert as to not only when things were being noted but how they were being seen or validated. There needed to be a firm level of confirmation from recipients of a message, if it was to be acknowledged there needed to be a definite response. In collating information about the Orb references, there was particular attention given as to when they were noticed and as for possible causes as for them. Despite investigation nothing was found that should or could have physically set off what was seen in that of the Orbs from inside or outside of the room. The smells were given attributed personal relevance as for why they had been depicted. Members could define what the scents reminded them of and how they had a relevant meaning as for them because of the specific spirit noted in the séance at that time. This was interesting in terms of evidence because it not only meant that members could engage in talking about what they had experienced but could then acknowledge an explanation as for why the occurrence had been noted in the séance at that precise time. After the séance incidents and occurrences were discussed by the members and experiences were further talked about.
