This blog includes an analysis of the latest and most recently sat investigation into a physical séance. Members and medium all attended a specifically prepared and closed room for participation in a physical séance. The experiences were investigated, the activity was identified and explored. Any suggestions and explanations from the séance are included in this following write-up and activity is classed as unexplained if no possible explanations as for it were found inside or potentially from outside of the séance room.
The séance began with the medium in a closed eyes trance. This level of consciousness was then used while messages were given to individual sitters from spirits via the medium. Information about appearances and identifiable particulars were referred to and then if validated detailed messages were passed to the recipients. Several humorous and memory based messages were given by individual spirits and later validated by members as relevant to themselves and to people known to them.
There were several Orbs that were noticed during the séance. These colourful lights were round in shape and noted near to sitters and pictures that had been laid out specifically for the purposes of the investigation.
The medium referred to a gentleman spirit, there were specifics for someone thought to be Peter Sellers, CBE (born Richard Henry Sellers; 8 September 1925 – 24 July 1980) an English film actor, a singer and comedian. He performed in the BBC Radio comedy series The Goon Show, and he featured on a number of hit comic songs. In the séance the name Henry was linked to and associated with this came a very detailed appearance reference. The gentleman in spirit spoke of the tiredness that he felt with stage performances but the hilarity of mucking about behind the set. He became known to a worldwide audience through his many film characterisations, and among them was a Chief Inspector Closeau in The Pink Panther series of films. There was a lot of emphasis made on an anniversary and the gentleman spoke of his thoughts on entertainment. There was a need for people, he explained to look at the funnier side of life. There was an opportunity for the sitters to listen to speech and references of the gentleman in spirit.
The séance was able to note validations in received messages. The Orbs were notable as unexplained activity because there was nothing to potentially explain how they were seen. It was useful to be able to converse with the members and gain an understanding of why the messages from spirits that were heard during the séance were poignant and relevant. It was discussed and the majority of responses spoke of the terms used by relatives in spirit as specific and acknowledgeable by them personally. Topics were broached and felt to be apt for them and there was a conversational atmosphere with spirits during the mid-part of the séance that everybody claimed to have experienced. It felt as if the séance was very active and as though everybody could participate.
