Every séance investigation is different, despite each session having particular set out checks and preparation prior to it. Every séance is dependant on the level of objectivity and criteria that it can meet. Objectivity is a priority and this is ensured as far as possible through the visibility of everything inside and knowledge of everything outside of the séance room.
At the beginning of the séance members and medium sat in a closed room and the investigation began. The medium was seen to go into a trance and from the very start of the séance younger spirits were noted and talked about. It was as speech was given and references made about the children in spirit that information about them could be given and this was validated as personally relevant for several of the sitters. The séance at that time noted a very prominent sound from the objects that had been laid out on the table.
The medium referred to a female in spirit, a comedy actress and notable family lead figure. It is believed by the information that was given that the lady in spirit is a Wendy Richard MBE (born Wendy Emerton, 20 July 1943 – 26 February 2009) an English actress best known for playing the roles of Miss Shirley Brahms on Are You Being Served? and Pauline Fowler on Eastenders the latter for nearly 22 years. Until the onscreen death of her EastEnders character in December 2006, she was one of only two original cast members of that programme to appear continuously from the first episode that was seen in 1985. In the séance the lady known as Wendy was keen to express her love of freedom and an ability to get out and do whatever it was that the moment dictated. This was an important feeling that she felt far more able to indulge in. Birds were a subject that she brought up and she also expressed her thanks.
In the séance more messages were passed between personally relevant spirits and sitters who could verify and validate the information.
The medium then spoke of a male in spirit and Fagan was mentioned. Due to the information that was referred to, it is thought that the gentleman spoken of is Ronald Moodnick (8 January 1924 – 11 June 2015), known professionally as Ron Moody, an English actor, singer, composer and writer perhaps best known for his portrayal of Fagin in Oliver! (1968) and the 1983 Broadway revival. Moody earned a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for that particular film, as well as a Tony Award nomination for the stage production. He was also notable projects include The Mouse on the Moon (1963), Mel Brook’s The Twelve Chairs (1970) and Flight of the Doves (1971), in which Moody shared the screen with Oliver! In the séance an anniversary was asked to be remembered and a sense of comedy.
Links and references were given as for someone, who according to research is thought to be a Peter Michael Falk (September 16, 1927 – June 23, 2011) an American actor, known for his role as Lieutenant Columbo in the long-running television series Columbo (1968–2003), it was for this which he won four Primetime Emmy Awards (1972, 1975, 1976, 1990) and a Golden Globe Award (1973). In the séance the gentleman spoke of family and a love for a particular photo. He specified the humour that could be brought about in rewatching old movies and the importance of growing a family.
During the séance there were several experiences claimed by members. The collective audible unexplained noise came in at a time when children in spirit had been seen by the same table and could not be defined by anything object based as having caused it. Blue Orbs have been mentioned in other reports of occurrences in previous séance investigations and in this experience there was indeed a few seconds in which several round spherical blue lights were seen. This was significant in terms of a visual experience and in regards as to how the lights could not be explained by anything room based as having caused them. It was agreed to have been a very busy and informative séance and one which provided many links and references to what later became verified points of investigation. The personal verifications of spirits were detailed, identifications and information was claimed to be relevant to individuals who could validate them.
