Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 22nd May 2018.

At the most recently held physical séance experienced members and medium arrived.  In a room everybody sat and prepared for the investigation to begin.  Within the first few minutes word references came through, this then led to links and references about appearances of noted individuals in spirit.  Several of the members recognised the information and then listened to more detailed messages which were relayed to them.

Orbs were seen, unexplained lights that could be seen near to members.  Knocks could be heard on and near to the designated table that had been laid out with objects and taps were noted in the same area but from the location of the floor.  While the particular area could be seen, there was nobody there to have set off the specifically notable sounds.

The medium spoke of a male spirit, seen several times, he was referred to and is believed to be a Peter Wilton Cushing OBE (26 May 1913 – 11 August 1994) an English actor best known for his roles in the Hammer Productions horror films of the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70sIn the séance as he was spoken of a small blue Orb was seen.  He talked of an awareness of being mentioned and noted in the séance.  Spanning over six decades, his acting career included appearances in more than 100 films, as well as many stage, television and radio roles.  Born in Kenley, Surrey, Cushing made his stage debut in 1935. He spent three years at a repertory theatre before moving to Hollywood to pursue a film career.  The gentleman in spirit was referred to as having a calm and knowledgeable presence.  He gave a small smile and this was described by the medium.  It was noted after the séance and in research that his anniversary of birthday was only a matter of a few days from that of when the séance was held.

A lot of notes were made about the messages that were received and relayed to individual sitters.  The information was a combination of depictions about appearance, personality, at one point there was even an animal link of a much loved pet alongside that of the spirit and when the references were able to be validated by a member, then further messages were given.  It was an involved process and one that I would say did integrate emotion and factual references.  One should stay objective throughout the investigation but there was definite poignancy felt as the messages were experienced.  It can be clearer from an evidence basis to remain focused on notes of what occurred and when they were noticed and while the majority of the séance was based on these kind of sight and sound claims of experience, the information and references did have an emotional influence on the séance.
