Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 27th March 2018.

A séance can and should be kept as objective as possible.  In maintaining and ensuring that the room itself and objects all meet the requirements of the séance and that the members adhere to the code of conduct, there is an opportunity to experience and encounter an objective setting for the séance.

A physical séance is important because it allows for a better understanding and possibility of visible, audible and notable unexplained activity.  The term unexplained activity is used for incidents that have been noticed and identified but can not be explained by anything as having caused what has occurred from inside or outside of the room where the séance has been held.  If there is no plausible proved explanation for what has occurred, when it has been noticed or in terms of an investigation afterwards, then it is referred to as unexplained by means of anything else having physically caused it.  If there is anything in the timing of the activity, for example a spirit has spoken at the same time or talked about the physical event then this will also be investigated.

The séance stared off with messages coming through quickly and by way of many different spirit individuals.  Each was first made known to the séance by a name or defined by appearance and then they gave a particular message.  It was on being able to recognise the individual in spirit that then the member could say if they were able to validate the information given by them.  Validated messages did come into the séance and subsequently a blue round light also known as an Orb or unexplained visual was seen over the forehead of one of the sitters.

The medium talked about a male gentleman in spirit who was easily recognisable by his appearance and he straight away spoke of a different perspective that he had on life.  He talked of a specific example about a decision he had made and how he now felt that his view of it had altered.  It is because of the information that was noted in the séance in amalgamation about his physical depiction, work and personal references that it is thought the person in spirit is that of Kenneth Charles Williams (22 February 1926 – 15 April 1988) an English actor, who is best known for his comedy roles and in later life as a raconteur and diarist.  In the Carry On films, he was one of the main ensemble in 26 of the 31 films, and he appeared in many British television programmes and radio comedies.  The programmes he was involved in included a series with Tony Hancock and Kenneth Horne. Loving in personality and able to see a much broader and wider perspective, the spirit referred to himself as being much more fulfilled.  The gentleman spoke of his feelings having altered and that he was much more content because of this having happened.

It was interesting that in research done about the gentleman in spirit, who was referred to and noted to speak in the latter part of the séance, on the day of the séance it was also World Theatre Day and in learning about him post investigation it was found that this same individual was one who had given much time to appearing in serious roles in the theatre earlier on in his career.

The séance was able to note one noise that was unexplained as having been caused by anything inside or outside of the room at that time.  It was as one of the sitters was talking and in conversation with a spirit, through the medium, that a distinct and particular tap was heard on that side of the room.

It was a séance that had a lot to be considered and raised as a topic of conversation.  Notes were not only made on what was seen, heard and thought but questions were asked about why these experiences should or could have been a part of the séance.  This process was vital to the investigation because it is in this questioning and thought provocation that a better understanding of the séance could be gained.
