A séance is an important occasion to witness but as an investigation it can only be properly noted if there is preparation made for how it is held.
Validated information that was received was noted. A cool sense of temperature was felt on members’ hands and spirits appeared happy to converse with the sitters through vocal messages to them via the medium. The séance was able to note unexplained noises from the beginning and as the medium was in trance messages started to come through from spirits for members.
The medium referred to a lady in spirit, information and appearance was given of someone thought to be Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jeane Mortenson; June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962) an American actress, a singer and model. This lady was keen to talk of a November anniversary and while she came forward, it was for someone else that she alluded the importance of a birthday. She would have him mentioned and further information collated in the séance suggested the male spirit spoken of as a Joseph Paul DiMaggio (November 25, 1914 – March 8, 1999), who was nicknamed “Joltin’ Joe” and “The Yankee Clipper“, an American Major League Baseball center fielder who played his entire 13-year career for the New York Yankees. Perhaps best known for his 56-game hitting streak (May 15 – July 16, 1941), a record that still stands, DiMaggio was a three-time MVP winner and an All-Star in each of his 13 seasons. It was during his tenure with the Yankees, the club won ten American League pennants and nine World Series championships and in the séance that the Birthday message was spoken of for him. Ninety as a figure was talked about by spirit and there was a lovely, smiling image of a lady as referred to by the medium as she celebrated an occasion. Blue as a colour was linked to by the spirit and the importance of family was mentioned.
There were several extremely poignant moments in the séance where members seemed to become involved with the messages that they received. It was interesting to see how the noises came and went in what should have been an otherwise quiet room. There was nothing either inside or outside of the room that could suggest why the noises were heard. The creaks, taps and knocks were relevant as they appeared to punctuate the speech that was noted from individual spirits.
The cool hands that were felt became significant not only as an unexplained activity, but because it came at a time when a specific meaning as for why this potentially may have been experienced, was heard. A message about a loving family member in spirit had just been noted and in addition to this there was a time when a hand holding was shown by them. The cool breeze around the hands then became an intriguing activity to note.
At the end of the séance there was a collective thought and exclamation of it as having been meaningful. In any investigation it is not only an emphasis on any activity that may occur which is important but also an approach as for finding out when it happened and hopefully why. In each occasion the activity coincided with a speech from a spirit or as a prior or follow up to a message. This did appear to suggest that there was a defined interpretation of meaning in the different forms of activity. Each of the unexplained incidents seemed to come at a time when there was importance felt in terms of a spoken message or spirit based conversation. It is useful to note the context of the occurrences as well as the outline of what had happened because it can provide an understanding for both the members and the investigation itself.
