It is interesting to investigate what, if anything, is noted in a séance. It is the noting, questioning and analysing of any unexplained activity that can lead to a summary of what has been experienced.
Noises were noted and in particular on and over the objects that had been put out on to the table. This was something that members became aware of as messages were being given by younger spirits to the séance. It was of interest to note that it was younger spirits who were giving messages at the time of the noises on those objects because of the reference to them. The objects were put out because of the appeal they could have for younger spirits and the timing of the noises came as they spoke to the members.
The medium spoke of a female spirit. Children were mentioned and then this lady in spirit was noted as being an actress. Information was given for a lady thought to be Yootha Joyce Needham (20 August 1927 – 24 August 1980), credited as Yootha Joyce, a British actress well known for playing Mildred Roper in the sitcom Man About the House and its spin-off George and Mildred.
In the séance the lady talked about an appreciation for life and all of the complexities. It was often hard to see the answers to the problems you had in life because of looking too closely at them, she explained in a speech, but when you thought about the wider picture then many of the same difficulties could actually be the lessons that made you appreciate what you had and you could be all the better for it. Acting she referenced as being something people thought she would not adjust to but in actual fact it was where she felt that she learnt the most and made the truest of love filled friendships.
Orbs were noticed in the séance and these were unexplained lights that could be seen several one after each other and each lasting for a few seconds in duration.
The séance was fully explored as for explanation or reason as for the noises that were heard earlier and for the lights that were seen but no basis for them could be found from inside or outside of the room. There was a significant amount of noise heard later on and towards the latter part of several messages that were given to members. These noises were noted and also investigated but other than having been heard at the time nothing put out should have set them off at that time in the séance. It was interesting that the unexplained activity did seem to occur as spirit given messages were referred to for members. The séance itself seemed to be active from start to finish and there were several moments when validated information gave an extremely poignant feel to the proceedings.
