Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 17th January 2017.

In this latest séance there was much to be noted in what was seen, heard and felt by members.  Notes have been taken and are included in this blog.

It was as the séance started that members began to refer to a cold sense in the room.  It felt a lot colder after a few seconds and then quickly messages began to pass between spirits, medium and members.  Information could be validated by sitters and as messages were being referred to there were unexplained noises that could be heard over the top of the objects that had been put out.

Orbs were seen.  Unexplained lights were noticed near to the members.  The medium talked of a female spirit.  Description of a Miss Marple link referenced in spirit a Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, Lady Mallowan, DBE (née Miller; 15 September 1890 – 12 January 1976) an English crime novelist, a playwright and short story writer.  Known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those involving her fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, it is because of this that talk surrounded a link to specific information given in the séance about her.  In the séance there was a reference to the best-selling criminal writer and a mention for her at this time.  In life she also wrote the world’s longest-running play, a murder mystery, The Mousetrap, and six romances under the name Mary Westmacott.  She was made a Dame for her contribution to literature in 1971.  The mystery And Then There Were None is Christie’s best-selling novel, it has a 100 million sales to date, making it the world’s best-selling mystery ever.

Benjamin Franklin (January 17, 1706 [January 6, 1705] – April 17, 1790) one of the Founding Fathers of the United States is thought to be the male spirit referred to by the medium.  Franklin was a renowned polymath and a leading statesman, author, printer, inventor, political theorist, politician, freemason, postmaster, scientist, civic activist and diplomat.  The reference to him was specific to achievements and how he had a heartfelt love for issues.  He was a major figure in the American Enlightenment because of his position as a scientist and the history of physics for his discoveries and theories regarding electricity.  As an inventor, he is known for the lightning rod, bifocals, and the Franklin stove among other inventions.  He facilitated many civic organizations, including Philadelphia’s fire department and The University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution.  Benjamin Franklin is thought of as “The First American” and was significant in his thoughts about a colonial unity.  His emphasis on his ideas is thought to have built on the archetypal American society.  His thoughts on community spirit, efforts of the individual and contribution to how society functions are the basis for much of how many people view an ideal country to be.

It was a séance that provided a lot of thought about what was noted in unexplained activity.  The information that came through about certain individuals was intriguing.  Speech, information and unexplained activity all followed in a séance that was able to stand up to investigation about what was seen and heard.
