Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 11th October 2016.

A physical séance is a timed, investigation into what may be seen, heard or sensed.  It is a noted overview of experiences, explanations and explorations into what may have occurred.

Sighted experiences were specific to Orbs or unexplained round disks of light and these were seen close to members as messages were given to them by spirits.  It was interesting as later smells were also noted in the room.  The séance was able to note several significant appearing smells.  It was the duration and question of how they could be depicted so quickly that intrigued.

Unexplained noises came from several of the objects that had been put out for child spirits and there was odd taps, knocks and creaks from the table that had been set out.  This was of interest as was the visual and sensory experiences because there was nothing to explain how they had been noted.

A while into the séance the medium referred to a female spirit, someone who had a notable interest in improving social reform and someone who has a kind heart.  Information was given as for someone thought to be Estelle Sylvia Pankhurst (5 May 1882 – 27 September 1960) an English campaigner for the suffragette movement in the United Kingdom.  The female spirit was talked about, referred to and an unexplained light was seen at that time in the séance.

There was a sense of ease of timing and comedy experienced by the medium and the image she kept referring to was that of a historically known male comedian on a stage.  There was specific acts, jokes and staged comedies that linked with that of Sir Norman Joseph Wisdom, OBE (4 February 1915 – 4 October 2010) an English actor and comedian.  He has a link to being a singer-songwriter well known for a series of comedy films produced between 1953 and 1966 featuring his hapless onscreen character named Norman Pitkin.  Wisdom gained celebrity status in lands as far apart as South America and Iran.  He had acknowledgement in many Eastern Bloc countries, particularly in Albania.  A spirit who loved to turn sadness to laughter and keen to talk about his sense of peace and time for loved ones.  In spirit the male comedian talked of laughter as the most expressive way of meeting with someone, you knew you had something in common with someone he said when you shared a sense of humour.  Happy, smiling and referred to by the medium as a knowledgeable gentleman it was of interest to see how the séance could note him.

It was a séance that had many instances of unexplained activity to research.  There were references to individuals who were known to members and could be validated by them and there were images, links and speech from spirits who had a public awareness.  Particularly poignant, specific messages had emotional influence for sitters and as a séance there was a lot to note in the experiences that occurred.
