Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.  When we sit to investigate and further our comprehension of those energies who have passed it is never with any expectation or forethought but more an open mind and heart to what is shown and it is with a level of trust along with faith that people can come through.

Home circle on the 22nd October 2013.

Parapsychology has many different elements to it which has scope for investigation and analysis.

Amongst the historical and science led cases have been the desire to find out more about what trance entails and how it effects the one who claims to act as a body which spirit can then use for speech purposes.

Trance in itself has been used as earliest means of spirit communication, with mediums during the Victorian period first enabling this kind of para or psi evidence to be visualised and probed.

Mediums who report being able to demonstrate spiritual oral modes and mean of producing external concept and thought were amongst a particular class most difficult to investigate because by its nature a mental process of a mind is something which parapsychology has to split itself into two to define.  Mediumship, or channeling, is known as a practice certain people such as trance mediums use when they communicate between spirits of those who have passed and those on this side of life.

Physical mediumship is defined as manipulation of energy and energy systems.

This mediumship is claimed to involve perceptible manifestations, such as voices, loud raps and noises, materialized objects, apports, materialized spirit bodies, or body parts such as hands, legs and feet. The medium is used as a source of power for spirit manifestations. By some thought it was achieved by using the energy or ectoplasm.

In 1924 physical mediums were put to the scientific lens with actual professors sitting down mediums and watching a séance.  Eye referenced summaries were taken by all who attended along with evidence of photographs including levitation and the resulting ectoplasm.

Most physical mediumship is presented in a dark or dimly lit room. Most physical mediums make use of a traditional array of tools, including trumpets, spirit cabinets, and levitation tables.  In this stage, I would like to go into more personal a statement, from the mouth of the sitters who sat in the circle and also to further define what equipment was used in the circle.  It seems that the criticism of many psychologists when looking into the para field is a number of objects which could be used by those in masking or disguising what is going on.  The sitting that we utilise is one that limits items to a minimum thereby also making the issue redundant and making it clear one should simply rely and put over evidence which is collated from energy or psi stimulation.

Blue lights, voices, white shapes and hands or arms with fingers are regularly evidence seen as well as noted by many of those who engage in the circle.  As this is something which has been a serial action seen by many sitters it is something that was thought suited to parapsychology study, the attention to not only the blue lights was important as it is an experience that has been a main one for the people who often sight them and can point to where others will also pick their location out.  The free and sometimes fast paced hands with fingers resemble palms and do as you will see from the written piece below match with other people’s senses at the time. It is thought that having more than just a single person’s knowledge and precise information on the para formation is justifiable to put forward as intriguing results.  The red light is the source of light which is used at all times with this and the table being the total of equipment brought in and there is nothing else apart from the gathered mediums in the room.

Without other influence and the sole list of furnishings being a table, chairs and a red bulb there is sufficient effort made to respond to any objections of an unfair trial in the attempt to prove or disprove materialisation.  It is the aim to distinguish any ambiguous possible situations which could be a reason for unpredictability or uncertainty.

I have included a response to what was felt, sighted and heard whilst the physical meet was held.

.. .. .. .. ..

In the minutes that went by many blue small disks of light showed and stood up against the shadows, this pattern of colour only lasted a little while and then I saw a pale almost white mass that in shape was gathered in a outline of a hand.

.. .. .. .. ..

It is not enough for one to take a solitary instance at face value as this could be put down to heightened emotion, an odd illusion or flawed inaccurate conveyance of what occurred.  There has to be enough properly checked and stated opinions which overlap to then cause the views to be objectively scruitinised.

The idea of mediumship being explained by telepathy was later merged into the super-ESP hypothesis of mediumship which is currently advocated by some parapsychologists.

Although telepathy is being sought to be better put to a frame of methodologically approved findings, it can not be a reason for what went on in the spiritual evening as it was a figure of an arm seen totally differentiated from any solid form which could have been then forced by some other instigative source into the air.

Scientific scepticism is a factor which has impacted on and produced thesis in the arena of parapsychology.  In the pursuit of uncovering a real comprehension of the idea of manifestation and spirit ability to give shape and verifiable tangible appearance it is of course a part of the theoretical preparation to configure the points of previous scientific studies and to integrate them in amongst new queries.

Science and spiritualism do fit together and far from being separated represent the two working counterparts of spirit and finding out about how or if such open and wide expanding contact is there and can be evidenced.
