Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 2 August 2016.

This is the blog of an investigation into a séance.  The séance is a defined time when experienced members and medium will participate in an attempt at spirit communication and a notation of any unexplained activity that may occur.

As a séance it was a calm and quiet start to proceedings.  Nothing was noted in activity and the medium was a long time into trance, a deep semi-conscious state, before she spoke of a spirit who would like to talk to one of the sitters.  The sitters also known as members were given direct messages from individual spirits of people who were known to them and had passed.  The messages held information that was validated by them and during this time Orbs, known as unexplained lights, were seen in the séance.  It was of interest that as one of the spirits, someone who was described as being quite buoyant in life, was referred to and her message directed to one of the members that audio evidence of an unexplained nature was heard.  Someone was heard to be walking in the séance room but all members were seated and visible.

It was after several significant messages were given that the medium referenced comedy.  In particular she talked about the jokes that linked them.  There were several, three comedians she stated.  People who loved the lighter element of life.  In talking about this there was a male mentioned.  Information was given about a well known man who could use his talents in many ways.  A comedian foremost for a lot of his life, particulars were given of someone believed to be Sir Harry Donald Secombe, CBE (8 September 1921 – 11 April 2001) a Welsh comedian and singer.  He played Neddie Seagoon, who was a central character in the BBC radio comedy series The Goon Show (1951–60).  He also appeared in musicals and films, in his later years, he was a presenter of television shows incorporating hymns.   In the séance there was talk of his comedy.  The message was that jokes were important and they linked in with an important lesson about life and how one should be able to be light hearted at times.

Comedy, jokes and smiles continued in the séance as a lady in spirit who had a lot of laughs in life spoke about herself.  You were in and out before you knew it she said and even though she was with a beloved grandfather now spirit side, she missed her children.  Her love was with them and she watched over the important people to her as a guiding light.  The lady, Joan Alexandra Molinsky (June 8, 1933 – September 4, 2014), better known as Joan Rivers, was an American comedian, actress, writer, producer, and television host who is noted for what was often controversial comedic links.

Reference was made to Frank Sinatra, to another two gentlemen who came in to the séance with him.  It was their love of laughter and their light hearted look at what life threw into the mix that brought them in.  One gentleman in spirit wanted to refer to a lovely, beautiful lady who he loved, he referenced Lauren Bacall (born Betty Joan Perske; September 16, 1924 – August 12, 2014) an American actress known for her distinctive voice and sultry looks.  Lauren Bacall was named the 20th greatest female star of Classic Hollywood.  A star in the heart of the spirit who talked about her, he referred to both an anniversary of birth date and passing for her.  One of the members noted a distinct smell and this was a Rose like scent that was strongly depicted by all as it went round the room.  The perfume scent was not one that any of the members or medium was wearing and despite investigation there was no explanation as for how it should have been noted at that time.

Jokes, humour and how this worked its way into life for all of the spirits was important.  In the séance there were significant references to people individually known of to members and their messages had a lot of poignant evidence to share.  Family links, friends and fun were all important reasons to smile mentioned the spirits that evening and several of them said they were guiding lights for their loved ones.
