Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 3rd May 2016.

A séance is a time set investigation into any unexplained activity that may occur.  The main aim of the investigation is to observe what, if anything, has been noted and to ask why, how or for what reason it may have occurred.

The séance was quiet at first and for the few minutes at the start of the investigation there was nothing to report.  It was a little while into the evening that members noted what was seen to be a movement at one side of the room.  The movement in itself caught several of the members’ attention and then there was a bright light that was seen in the same area.  The light lasted for a few seconds but was evident to fill the whole expanse of one side of the séance.  The room where the séance is held is kept for the duration of the investigation in low lighting but everyone and all objects are visible.  There was nothing that could have explained why the movement was noted as members remained seated in the séance.  The light was brightly lit, it was something that was seen internally and had no physical link to any of the lights from inside the room.

The medium talked of a male spirit that was seen in the séance, a man who was known for his life on TV.  As a boy he had an interest in the stage performances of loved actors but it was later in life that he developed a love for being in a television based arena.  Information links came in from the medium about him and it is thought that the spirit was Robert Alan “Bob” Monkhouse, OBE (1 June 1928 – 29 December 2003) who was an English entertainer, a comedy writer, comedian and actor and well known on television as a presenter and game show host.  In the séance the name of Bob was mentioned several times and Monkhouse linked in with his identity.  Reference was made to years with a loving wife and a love for the motivational sense of purpose that being on TV had given him in life.

The séance then noted personal reference messages to individual members from spirits of family and friends.  What was interesting as evidence came in the small blue lights that were seen as the references were made to individual sitters.  Orbs or unexplained lights were seen clearly in the room, there was interest in them, each lasting a few seconds they were noted at times when names or particular information about spirits were given.  This is something that can be noted as response evidence as the Orbs appeared to be seen at times when there was mention of people who had passed.

Several claimed glamorous actresses were seen as individual spirits by the medium.  Three were noted and these were then individually talked of in message form.  The first of which was Joan Crawford (born Lucille Fay LeSueur; March 23, 1904 – May 10, 1977) who was an American film and television actress who started as a dancer and stage chorine.  The stage was something that seemed to link all four of the spirits in the séance, the stage came up as a linked passion in life for all of the individuals.  In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked Crawford tenth female star on their list of Classic Hollywood Cinema individuals.  The three spirits of the females were striking in their appearance and the stance that they all had as leading ladies, the medium felt sure that this was something they all would like mentioned.

As the séance continued the second of the female spirits was talked of and this is someone thought to be Lucille Désirée Ball (August 6, 1911 – April 26, 1989) who was an American actress, comedian, model, film studio executive and producer.  Known as the star of the self produced sitcoms I Love Lucy, the medium said that there was a link for the spirits that evening and that they had an affection for their stage home.  It was odd because prior to her being noted by the medium there was a definitive sound of a door being opened or closed, all in the séance heard it and there was no explanation as for why it was heard in what should have been a quiet, well shut off room.

Rita Hayworth is thought the last of the three female spirits linked in the séance, she was (born Margarita Carmen Cansino; October 17, 1918 – May 14, 1987) and was an American actress and dancer.  Having achieved acclaim during the 1940s as one of the era’s top actresses, appearing in a total of 61 films, the medium noted that the spirit was keen to be referenced for what she had portrayed in life.  One had to aspire to what they wanted in life, the spirit spoke through the medium, to make their dreams a reality.

It is of interest that all of the spirit individuals had a link to the stage, two of which were known for their comedy presence.  As a séance the noted activity that was unexplained by those who attended did provide intriguing evidence.  The unexplained lights, personal messages which were validated and the response activity did seem to prove a link between what occurred in terms of activity and the noted spirit individuals who were referred to as being in the séance.
