Level One. Growing.

You might look at me and think Puppy,

eat, sleep and play repeatedly.

I do all those things but as I go I learn,

to grow and for new experiences I simply yearn.

I nip and yap, I bark and whine,

but there are reasons for those noises of mine.

I do not delay in picking up an object or two,

before you know it I might have piled up a few.

I learn through play and listen to what you say,

I am a puppy and I have many parts to my day.

I sniff, I find, catch and return,

many aims have I had to learn.
