Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held on 14th April 2015.

A séance of a political theme, two leaders, two well known individuals and one interesting set of connections. In a physical séance it is important for members to observe the actions which could take place and information about spirits is noted, these notes are then put through a research process.

The information regarding spirits claimed in séance will be with notable links from the medium, information noted as through the medium will usually have to have some form of objective validation of other physical activity taking place at the same time, through direct voice, if the voice spoken of by the medium is different from that of her/his own or if words, names and information is heard in the séance in an unexplained way.

The spirits in the recent séance had a number of connections which came up in research after the investigation:

–  Both were political individuals who represented a similar Party allegiance to Republican and Conservatives.

– Both individual spirits had passing dates in April near to each other and with an anniversary link to the physical séance.

– Both took to law prior to their political career as one was a notable Barrister and one a noted Lawyer.

– Interestingly even though they had lives in two different countries they both had ancestor links to two counties in England which were situated together as one had a relation of Samuel Lincoln from Norfolk England and one Alfred Roberts from Northamptonshire England.

– Both suffered major Assassination attempts.

– Personally both self taught themselves particular areas of literature and both had an extreme love of poetry.

– One took to a term of office on March 4, 1847 and one took to a term of office on 5 March 1974.

Margaret Hilda Thatcher, Baroness Thatcher, LG, OM, PC, FRS (née Roberts, 13 October 1925 – 8 April 2013) was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990, the Leader of the Conservative Party from 1975 to 1990 and is thought to be the first spirit noted in the séance.  The longest-serving British Prime Minister of the 20th century and the only woman to have held the office, the spirit who was talked of as entering the physical séance was a strong female who held an attitude of resilience.  In the séance the medium noted the word Iron and in life a Soviet journalist called her the “Iron Lady”, a nickname that became associated with her uncompromising opinion on politics and leadership style.  As Prime Minister, she implemented policies that have come to be known as historical in politics and her name is linked with her term of office and the name of Thatcherism.

In the séance two names were spoken of one was Beatrice and one was Nancy.  The medium had talked of two spirits, one being a female and one male.  The two names were originally linked to them as personal information for them as individuals, as the names were stated there was an odd coolness which was noted by the sitters, the names were important and were noted.  In life Beatrice Ethel (née Stephenson) was the name of Margaret Thatcher’s mother and Nancy Hanks Lincoln was the mother of Abraham Lincoln.

The séance watched as the lights known as orbs were noted.  There was a number of larger orbs, and somewhat interestingly there were two lights seen over the medium.  The medium spoke of the lady spirit’s number of jobs, one has to work to maintain a sense of who they are in life, of goals, of life directives.  It is through work that one gets to know their own sense of ambition, of what they want out of life and to what cost this will be.  Originally a research chemist before becoming a barrister, Thatcher was then elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Finchley in 1959.  The name of Ted, Ted Heath was linked to by the female spirit in the séance, in life Edward Heath appointed her Secretary of State for Education and Science in his 1970 government.  The link to Edward Heath did not end there as in 1975, Thatcher defeated Heath in the Conservative Party leadership election to become Leader of the Opposition and became the first woman to lead a major political party in the United Kingdom.  In the séance the female spirit talked of aims and the importance of running life as a woman.  You have to lead, be at the forefront of life and never let other people’s attitudes sway you from your own aims.  Margaret Thatcher became Prime Minister after winning the 1979 general election.

In the séance there was an interesting moment when the female spirit spoke of Winston Churchill, at that minute there was a sudden cool blast of air as if someone had opened the door and there were taps and creaks which were all noted as occurring together one after another and in the same area of the room in front of everyone.  In February 2007, Thatcher became the first living British Prime Minister to be honoured with a statue in the Houses of Parliament, this bronze statue stands opposite that of her political hero, Sir Winston Churchill.

Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) was the 16th President of the United States, serving from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865 and is thought to be the other spirit in the séance.  There was a few interesting minutes where voices where heard in the séance, it was distinct, difficult to pick out words from it but it sounded as if two people were in conversation from one part of the unoccupied area in the séance.  The members listened out and walked over to the area but the voices continued, if anything seemed a little quieter and then disappeared. The medium talked of the male spirit, he had a passion as had the female spirit for acquiring the rights of what they thought to be needed laws and policies for their countries.  No man should ever be told he is not in the league of his fellow compatriot in a fair and moral governed land, the male spirit said, it is through policies that we encumber growth in both the morality and embetterment of the human spirit.  As the speech was being referred to a number of clicks and taps were heard from around members seats, there were no objects which should have set off those sounds.  Lincoln led the United States through its Civil War—its bloodiest war and its greatest moral, constitutional and its largest political crisis.   In doing so, Abraham Lincoln preserved the Union, abolished slavery, strengthened the federal government, and modernized the economy, the speech in the séance did link to historical movement and activity of which was noted in that of Lincoln’s life.

Born in Hodgenville, Kentucky, Lincoln grew up on the western frontier in Kentucky and in Indiana.  Largely self-educated, research has noted he loved poetry as did Margaret Thatcher, he became a lawyer in Illinois, a Whig Party leader, and a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, where he served from 1834 to 1846.  Abraham Lincoln was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1846, Lincoln promoted rapid modernization of the economy through banks, railroads and tariffs while these are all areas Margaret Thatcher could also be noted for having links to as have many political leaders, it was for Abraham Lincoln and Margaret Thatcher a means for establishing extreme policies which linked not only to their names as political historical leaders but to their actions as leaders in reforming their state.  These were areas where both leaders had to make decisions which were not liked by a lot of people but went on to impact on their policies and how they were later known.  Reentering politics in 1854, Abraham Lincoln became a leader in building the new Republican Party, which had a statewide majority in Illinois and has links to the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom.  Margaret Thatcher built up her idea of what the Conservative Party should be and to this day is linked to for a certain type of political leadership.  In 1858, while taking part in a series of highly publicized debates with his opponent and rival, Democrat Stephen A. Douglas, Lincoln spoke out on what he thought to be important, he spoke out against the expansion of slavery.  In the United Kingdom there is, at the moment, an escalating public Election with fierce debate as would have been a part of both Abraham Lincoln and Margaret Thatcher’s lives.

It is interesting as in the physical séance the two spirits had a lot of connected links in life.  Two political leaders from two different countries, from two differed eras had lives which oddly put them together in so many ways.  The séance itself was notable for the temperature fluctuation, for the sounds which were picked up on, for the orb activity and for the interaction of activity and speech from the spirits, for the anniversary of one of the spirit’s passing as Abraham Lincoln’s anniversary of passing date will be one day from when this account is being written and there is an interesting overlap in events with that of both spirits being involved in politics and debate.

As a researcher and investigator it is interesting to note a possible cause for why the two spirits were seen together, as for if there is any awareness for why two people who would normally not be put together should appear in the one investigation, there are links which are little known of which intrigue and one has to consider just how these two people have many instances which link them in life and spirit.
