Physical séance, politics and state.
Members were asked to note any visible, audio or experience of notable activity. The séance was opened in a low lit, prepared area cleared of anything other than what was chosen for the physical séance. Members watched as the séance seemed to become calm and look less lit than it had moments before, the actual light source had not appeared to dim at all but the area did look as if parts of it were being obscured with shadows and with reference made to this by members, the medium started to go into a trance state.
The first activity to be noted was that of the temperature. The area which had been warm started to become extremely cool and the time in which this occurred was within seconds. Members reported the icy cool sense to the physical séance before noises were heard on the walls all around where people had been arranged for the investigation. There were loud taps and cracks which were unexplained and went off one after another. The noises were noted to go off for a one to two minutes.
The medium talked of a male individual in spirit. A man who knew in his heart that he had an important role for a country. Information was given by the medium about a Lloyd George, a David Lloyd George, 1st Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor, OM PC (17 January 1863 – 26 March 1945) who was a British Liberal politician, he was a statesman and is the individual believed to be referred to in spirit at the physical séance. As Chancellor of the Exchequer (1908–1915), Lloyd George was a key figure in the introduction of many reforms and this is what laid the foundations of the modern welfare state.
In the séance there was reference to policies. The spirit talked through the medium about a life where his thoughts were focused on the good of a country. In spirit he had deliberated and thought about his actions in life. One, he said, had to be objective but ambitious in what they would like to achieve.
As the medium spoke there was a lot of reference from the members about Orbs or unexplained lights that were seen in the séance area. Independent opinion had meant that not everyone had agreed with him, the spirit said, but that he led his country as he felt he had to do. His most important role in life came as the highly energetic Prime Minister of the Wartime Coalition Government (1916–22), during and immediately after the First World War. Many links were made to names of events which were a part of the First World War and to Frances who was later found to have a personal important meaning for him. David Lloyd George OM PC was a major player at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919 that reordered Europe after the defeat of Germany in the Great War. The spirit speech in the physical séance went on with the male spirit speaking to the members, he said if you did what you thought and acted on what you knew to be the right vision for the improvement of society then you had made an impression on the land. Arguably it is claimed David Lloyd George OM PC made a greater impact on British public life than any other 20th-century leader, thanks to his pre-war introduction of Britain’s social welfare system, his leadership in winning the war and his post-war role in reshaping Europe.
An anniversary was mentioned for him and it is the anniversary of his birth not long from when the investigation into a physical séance was sat. Peaceful was a word used by the spirit several times. A movement as if someone had moved in the investigation was noted by the sitters and as this was said several members reported sighting a white outline of a person who had been visible for a few seconds.
The physical séance was one that included a lot of reference to the one man. A leader and a figure of some notable link to a country, there was a lot of validated information and unexplained activity which was noted as these links were put out in the physical séance. The links do refer to the one individual who has a notable anniversary validated, had an important part in history and was referenced in a physical séance as a lot of unexplained activity was noted in evidence.
