An investigation into a physical séance is an interesting opportunity to investigate physical evidence of noted unexplained activity.
The séance was full of action from the first few minutes of sitting, after the lights had been turned off and the séance opened almost immediately activity started as a coolness was felt in the room and a strange but strong smell of a perfume was noted. The temperature and the smell of perfume had not been there seconds before but within minutes both were felt strongly and the medium began to talk of one lovely young spirit, a female who was someone known for her looks, her laugh and a sense of life being over far too soon. She was someone who had a link to a J name, who looked the part of beauty and acted in many films, she could be prone to depression but had a love for what she had been a part of in life. Marilyn Monroe June 1 1926 to August 5 1962 is thought to be the spirit in the séance as the spirit in the investigation linked to the information, the appearance talked of in the investigation and to the anniversary for a birthday which was coming up for the spirit.
In the séance there was coolness around the sitters all the while the spirit was mentioned.
Rita Hayworth (born Margarita Carmen Cansino; October 17, 1918 – May 14, 1987) was an American actress, dancer and is thought to be the next spirit that was noted in the physical séance. As the coolness was felt to leave the room, it was interesting that the perfume was noted to have the left the séance in seconds and a number of odd cracks were heard around where the members of the investigation were seated, the medium was still talking about the spirits she could visibly note and referred to another female spirit who knew acting and modelling well. The female spirit she said came through with a name of Margaret or Marguerite and she had Spain as a home link. A lady who was also beautiful and had a lot of her life on public view, she walked the life of acting and stage. It is thought that the spirit was Rita Hayworth who achieved famous notoriety during the 1940s as one of the era’s top actress and stage individuals, appearing in a total of 61 films over 37 years.
In the séance the cracks continued around where members were seated. The members reported sighting little lights or Orbs in the séance and there were a number of incidents when sitters reported feeling as if a part of their bodies were held for a few minutes. It seemed as if someone was walking around the séance as in the investigation the reports of the cracking noises were noted from all around where the members were seated and there was an odd series of statements that the members had a sense of someone watching them even though there was no one visibly standing in the area from where the statements were coming from. The medium talked of the female actress as linked to a Marguerite name and Rita Hayworth was actually called Margarita before taking the name of Rita. The medium noted that there was a lots of links to Congratulations and it is odd that research has shown that it was a wedding anniversary for Rita Hayworth on 27th May which was one day after when the séance sat. Rita is perhaps best known for her performance in the 1946 film noir, Gilda. She has her name listed as one of the top 25 females of motion picture.
Research has shown that May 27th is an anniversary link for Rita Hayworth and explains the congratulations message in the séance, in 1948, at the height of her fame, Hayworth traveled to Cannes and was introduced to Prince Aly Khan. It was as they began a year-long courtship, that they were married on May 27, 1949. Hayworth left Hollywood and sailed for France, she was noted for having been the first actress to turn princess after breaking her contract with Columbia.
Frank Sinatra was a name linked to in the séance, Frank was talked of as someone known to Rita and one of the last films Rita Hayworth filmed was with Frank Sinatra.
Sir Derek Jules Gaspard Ulric Niven van den Bogaerde, known as Dirk Bogarde (28 March 1921 – 8 May 1999 was the last spirit to be talked of in the séance. In the sitting the activity was noted to have lulled for a little while, there was talk of who had been seen, what had been the experiences of the members when a loud knock was heard on one of the objects in the séance. It was firm and occurred twice again but with a few minutes in between the noises, the medium was quiet for a few minutes and said she could not note anyone but after a few minutes she said there was a male, a man who knew acting and was someone who had a passing anniversary in this month. A man who had a love for being an actor and being able to be a different person to that of who he was in life. A man who had been an actor with a somewhat medical role, in research Dirk Bogarde links with the information of the séance. The noise on the object did cause a lot of questions and was of interest to the members.
It was an interesting investigation of action, information and actors. Two of the stated female spirits had lives as an actress which did have overlaps, there were links and notable connections to them in life. The spirit who was noted in the last few minutes of the séance was of interest for his claimed appearance and for the activity which was noted around him.
