Every physical seance is different but there are important preparations which remain the same. A room is designated for the investigation into a physical seance and this is because it can be separate and closed off during the set and scheduled process. Seating is all positioned so as each member can see one another and fully observe all objects that are placed on a centrally situated table.
Each investigation into a physical seance is held in a closed room. Experienced members and medium gathered together and sat in fully visible positions to each other and all the objects in the room.
The medium closed her eyes and then began to talk about who she could depict in terms of individuals in spirit. The references to individuals and depictions included very specific personal links. Members listened and then were able to speak at more length with individuals in spirit.
ORBS were noted during this time, and could be observed as small, blue, round unexplained lights that were seen momentarily and were unexplained by any other environment or person based cause from inside or outside of the seance room at that time.
MESSAGES were inclusive of personality information, details about individual preferences and memories. Sitters entered a Q and A with individuals in spirit via the medium. Sitters could validate who the spirit speakers were and acknowledge the messages that were given.
The medium referred to someone thought to be a Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882), who went by his middle name Waldo, an American essayist and abolitionist. He was a lecturer, philosopher and poet who led the Transcendentalist movement of the mid-19th century. He was noted and seen as a champion of individualism and critical thinking. He was a notable prescient critic of the countervailing pressures of society and conformity. In the seance the gentleman talked about society and the importance of it not breaking down. In members helping each other ties could form and if this was forgotten then life would be the poorer for it.
SUMMARY of the experiences and events led to discussion about what had occurred. It was a good time for members to talk about what had happened. Messages were collectively spoken about. The messages were felt to have been relevant and there was a discussion about meaning. The seance had provided sitters with message content and the Orbs were mentioned as for when they had been noticed. It was thought that the times of Orbs had emphasise certain parts of the messages. The seance was claimed to have been fulfilling and thought provocative.
