These are the notes, thoughts and outlines of what was experienced in the most recent investigation into a physical séance.
Experienced members and medium all joined in a closed and prepared room. The room itself was checked and laid out with objects that could be noted for evidence of noise or visual activity. Everybody was sat in full visibility of each other as the medium went into a trance and messages started to become evidenced from spirits to sitters. The information came in reference form about individuals in spirit, there were more personal direct speech to the particular recipient and then an in-depth message. The information on each occasion was acknowledged and then the message validated as relevant.
Orbs were noted during the séance. The unexplained blue lights were each seen for a few seconds in time.
Smells were intriguingly noticed as suddenly, within a few minute period, being distinct and strongly detectable in the room. These scents were depicted as aromas and lasted for a short while before disappearing from the séance. In one of the speeches heard from a particular spirit via the medium, several but not all of the smells were claimed as being relevant as from them.
The next few moments of the séance were filled with two extremely detailed and apt experiences. The members discussed the evidence collated and after the séance agreed them to be pertinent and focused on major recent occasions. Both individuals in spirit, as you will note from the details below, share birthday anniversaries in month. The subject matter that they both introduced and talked on was collectively felt and depicted by the séance, as personally for the spirits who spoke of them and for the members who listened, experiences of a vocational and motivational nature.
The medium talked about seeing two spirits. A diary was noted and a female, then the name Seacole, information came through about someone believed to be Mary Jane Seacole OM (née Grant; 23 November 1805 – 14 May 1881) a British-Jamaican business woman and nurse who set up the a notable place of convalescence behind the lines during the Crimean War. She provided succour for wounded servicemen on the battlefield. It was with a gentle but forceful energy that she was depicted by the medium. The spirit spoke of persisting for what you believed in because it was important to recognise family, happiness and the wellness of the lives you touched. Emotional, was the feeling reported as being oddly felt by everybody during the speech. It was described as odd because the feeling came over everybody in the séance in unison. After the séance, in research it was found that the lady in spirit, Mary Seacole was posthumously awarded the Jamaican Order of Merit in 1991. In 2004 she was voted the greatest black Briton.
There was a few minutes whereby quiet was experienced and then a link spoken of about an individual in spirit acknowledged as Hogarth and thought to be William Hogarth FRSA (10 November 1697 – 26 October 1764) an English painter, pictorial satirist, social critic, printmaker and editorial cartoonist. It was expressed that some parallel was seen in the séance between that of this individual in spirit, a gentleman from far earlier in history and that of the Marvel comics relevance to that of what had transpired earlier on the day of when the séance was held. In the séance the gentleman spoke about the power of illustrating ideas to enhance the good in society. No matter the medium, he explained, ideas were important vehicles to broach concepts and artistic notions. He continued to say, do not waste ideas by letting them populate idle breezes. In research after the séance it was found that William Hogarth’s work ranged from realistic portraiture to comic-strip like series of pictures which involved modern and moral subjects, perhaps best known being his moral series of paintings. Knowledge of his work is so pervasive that satirical political illustrations were publicly recognised in this style.
Poetry and radical change were both concepts that were inferred by spirits through the spoken word of the medium. There was a lot of in-depth notation from message and speech based contents. The more widely acknowledged spirits, collectively recognised and talked about by the séance were noted as relevant to the date of when the séance had sat and to the event of a remembrance which had only two days prior passed. War and combat came into discussion because of the links of the two particular spirits part way through the séance. These thoughts instigated a lot of conversation not only about how the two individuals used emotive subjects for a wider good but also how relevant the timing was to that of the reference to the two historically significant and notable figures.
It was a very active and busy investigation, neither the Orbs or the smells, could be explained as having been caused from anything inside or outside of the room. As such as there was no object or possible cause found as for them having occurred, they were classed as unexplained. However the timing of them, in and around the appearance of several spirit speeches, was felt to be of interest.
