Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 17th April 2018.

In a prepared room which had been laid out with specific objects, seating and central table were all arranged in anticipation of the investigation.  Experienced members and medium attended for what was to be a physical séance.  Everybody took to their seats and the séance began.

The medium was able to give messages from spirits to individual members.  While messages were personally given, in several instances information that had come from a spirit who knew two members meant that a three way conversation could be engaged in.  Importantly information contained within the messages could be validated by the recipients.

The objects on the table did become a focus in the séance.  It was at the time of a sighting that auditory activity was noticed.  Spirit children had been referred to and specifically identified.  It was a few moments after these references that noises could be heard.  These were thought of by the séance as relevant to the spirits that had only seconds before been mentioned.  The noises seemed to have come from the objects on the table but not having been touched by anyone, explanation as for why could not be found from anything visibly having caused it.

Questions did come about as a result of some of the spirit messages that had been given and these were specific as to information that had been given.  Conversations were built on the identification of personal meanings of certain references and associations to them.  The medium spoke of a male spirit, a famously noted writer and information was given about someone who from appearance and life work is though to be a William Shakespeare (26 April 1564) – 23 April 1616) an English playwright, poet and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world’s pre-eminent dramatist.  In the séance the male spirit spoke of a birthday and his love for writing.  William Shakespeare is often called England’s national poet.  Home as in an area, was spoken about by the male spirit and he told of the fact that he felt at rest where most of his life was lived.  Having inscribed many of his ideas, the gentleman in spirit talked about how he had experienced difficulty in keeping all of his records together, in one place.  A lot of love and general good humour was said to have been radiated by the male spirit as referred to by the medium and a strong sense of family was felt by him.  It was from his early teens that the male spirit spoke of having become enthralled by volumes of literature.  A love for those he held dear in his heart meant that the spirit referred to a keepsake that he kept with him and this was for the majority of time in life.  Research after the séance has indicated that William Shakespeare’s plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright.

A séance that was full of questions, explorations and information which was both of a personal and latterly a more individual perspective, this all gave a basis for an investigation that had a lot of scope for looking deeper into what had been experienced.  It was useful to be able to listen to not only the validation of the facts contained in a message but how the meaning of what had been referenced had brought up questions and thoughts for members.  It did allow for the meaning of the séance to be analysed more deeply and for the investigation to regard what, if any, were the important priorities of experiences.  After discussion, it was felt that each part of the séance was significant, the observation of all the noted activity and the personal speech of spirits made for experiences that could be personally further understood and where possible verified by those who attended.
