A séance is an interesting occasion to be a part of because it is in this area of investigation that one is able to explore in actual time if anything does occur when asked for and if claimed spirit participation is an unexplained activity that is worthy of investigative research.
In this recent séance there was an incident that for me stood out. The séance room itself is an easy area to observe. It was as members were all seated that spirits were discussed and as this topic was talked of that a loud knock was heard on the inside wall of where the séance was being held. It was of interest because of the timing of it and also the position of where it was heard from as there was nothing to explain how the sound could have come about.
Orbs were noted in a vast number. Orbs or unexplained lights were seen around members faces and this was during messages from spirits to sitters through the medium. This activity was both intriguing and notable as it came about several times and could not be explained as lights coming from any equipment.
Smells that were distinct and sudden in how they appeared and disappeared from the séance were mentioned. Several times pungent cooking smells, cigarette smoke and perfume came into the séance area and in a matter of seconds could not be traced again.
Messages came from spirits to several of the sitters and were spoken of by the medium. The information in them could be validated and later reference was made to an Ernest Wiseman, OBE (27 November 1925 – 21 March 1999), known by his stage name Ernie Wise, an English comedian. The medium spoke of the gentleman in spirit, someone known as one half of the comedy duo Morecambe and Wise and who became a national institution on British television.
In the séance it was as the gentleman talked of smiles and comedy that many friends in spirit were mentioned. There was a light hearted sense to the séance as this was spoken of and an allusion to the Christmas specials that he had been a part of in life. Comedy was important to him and the spirit spoke of wishing all a Christmas that could unite. He was, he said, in spirit with the lives of many of his loved ones. Friends he talked of as like minded and like hearted, many surrounded him, in spirit.
It was a comedy filled séance as the spirit talked of the need for smiles in life. Unexplained and interesting activity seemed to occur at varying times throughout the investigation. It was often as messages were given or references made to individuals that there was notable unexplained activity.
Members mentioned many times when emotionally they felt tearful. There was a sensation as claimed by several sitters of being watched, held and there was many Orbs evident during these times. Objects put out for the younger spirits to play with did give off unexplained noises and along with other unexplained activity it was a continuously event filled séance.
