Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held 25th October 2016.

The séance attended was a timed event in which members and medium could witness any unexplained occurrences.  Notes were made, exploration of explanations were undergone and an investigation into spirit activity noted what was experienced.

At the start of the investigation the medium was able to give several messages from spirits to sitters who could validate and identify with the information.  Orbs were seen and these were unexplained lights that were noted near to specific sitters.  A cold sense of the temperature was reported by several of the sitters.

The medium referred to a male spirit, a person who is thought to be William Morris (24 March 1834 – 3 October 1896) an English textile designer, poet, novelist, socialist activist and translator.  Associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement, William Morris was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts.  He concentrated on methods of production.  His literary contributions helped to establish the modern fantasy genre.  In the séance the male spirit was spoken of according to his abilities to bring about attributes to society.  It was said that positive and insightful the individual in spirit liked to assert his sense of self through what he built.  He played a significant role in propagating the early socialist movement in Britain.

The spirit seemed keen to refer to participation and this led through to the séance being able to hear knocks on the table and there was the sound of distinct running though no one was out of their seats.

The medium talked of a male spirit who was tied to Jacobian as a word.  Information was given for someone thought to be James II and VII (14 October 1633 – 16 September 1701) King of England and Ireland as James II and King of Scotland as James VII, from 6 February 1685 until he was deposed in the Glorious Revolution of 1688.  The last Roman Catholic monarch to reign over the Kingdoms of England, Scotland and Ireland.  In the references was the distinct sense of being a king, a ruler and a leader.  It was of interest that at this time an apparition was noted in the room.  Sightings of a male with similar features to the spoken of King was seen in the séance.

Two spirits were noted in the séance and these both had important historical roles within social reformation.  Culturally and socially both individuals could be said had been a part of historical adaptation.  In the séance itself there was unexplained activity.  Distinct and intriguing the activity was noted at times when spirits had been discussed.  It was useful to be able to note the occurrences in real time and to investigate possible causes as for why certain things were seen.  It was a séance of interest, information and activity that was defined as unexplained.
