Home circle.

Here is a summary of our home circle.

Home circle held on 22nd March 2016.

A séance about remembrance of life.

It was an interesting start to the séance.  The investigation into spirit evidence was held in a checked room and the sitters all watched as the medium began trance.  The room itself had been comfortable but it started to become extremely cool and at this time there was a correlation in information about spirit individual from the medium.

It was a male spirit that the medium referred to and someone who knew acting as his role in life.  Information came in the form of links and names.  It was as this was being referenced that members claimed sightings of Orbs, unexplained lights, that were seen in the séance.

An actor, someone who knew how to take on his role as if he had lived the life of the person he was playing, the spirit knew how to immerse himself in his job.  There was a lot of information about this person and amongst this was a link to an anniversary.  Images of him were seen in his older years and he talked about having time to appreciate things more because of a lessened pace of life in those years, it was more that he seemed to accept parts of his life more readily as he got older and got to know who he was meant to be.  Harry H. Corbett, OBE (28 February 1925 – 21 March 1982) is thought to be the spirit in the séance and this is because of links to his life.  He was an English actor and Corbett was known for his starring role in the popular and long-running BBC Television sitcom Steptoe and Son in the 1960s and 1970s.  As he talked in the séance this was noted through the medium’s links and several times icy temperatures were experienced as was the smell of cigarettes that were noted for a few minutes and then seemed to leave the room as quickly as it had been noticed.

A link was made in his speech about a H Wilfrid Brambell (22 March 1912 – 18 January 1985) who was a film and television actor also known for his role in the British television series Steptoe and Son.  He also performed alongside the Beatles in their film A Hard Day’s Night, and he is known as playing Paul McCartney’s fictional grandfather.

In the séance a lot of evidence was seen in what was experienced in the room.  The temperature was difficult to explain.  Several times as a spirit was mentioned there was a sudden, cool extreme felt in the coolness of the room.  There was nothing to explain from inside or outside the room what could have caused this to occur.

Orbs were unexplained lights that members noted, and this was again seen as a spirit was identified.  Orbs were not seen alone, smells were depicted and noises heard as if there was creaking of footsteps on the floor and knocking on the walls where no noise should have been heard from, it is of interest when these experiences are noticed because a lot of checks are done both to the outside and inside of the room where the séance is attended.

An anniversary was mentioned by the male spirit and in evidence it has been noted that the gentleman’s anniversary of passing would have been one day before that of when the séance was sat.  It was an investigation where many incidents of interest were noted.  The male spirit was claimed to have been seen twice, both times it was his face that was seen as visible and this was by one of the members in the séance.  As evidence this was not something as seen by any of the other sitters but the coolness that was experienced at the same time as the claim was something that could be noted as having occurred simultaneously.

At the end of the séance there was a thank you given by the spirit and this was linked to by the medium.  In itself this was something that the investigation noted as information from the medium but the coinciding knock on the table as it was claimed the spirit information came through was of interest.  In a séance it is important to be able to note what happens and when, questions can be asked about why something has happened and if there was any probable explanation for it.  When there is something of an experience that members can note and can not explain that is when something can be claimed as interesting evidence of possible spirit activity.
