Tarot and spirits.

The tarot cards are a route for divination.  Over history they have been used as one means for visually depicting a reading from spirit.  The cards themselves consist of 78 cards that are split into two main sections called The Major Arcana (containing 22 cards) and the Minor Arcana (containing four suits, namely: The Suit of Wands, The Suit of Cups, The Suit of Swords and The Suit of Pentacles.  Colours and images all vary according to the decks but the interpretations are universal and can lead to potent and vivid truths.

Note symetry in a reading is important because it is the spread and the choice in the outline of their positioning which will enhance results.  If, for instance, the horseshoe spread is defined and the images are used in the shape of the horseshoe then the past, the present, the hidden influences at work, the obstacles to face, the impressions of the future and the overall answer you sought primarily will all come into view.

It can be of vast aid and instrumental in relief, when the Tarot card is implemented in finding a solution many facets and angles of a problem can be reflected.  It is required that at the start of a reading the person who is seeking an overview of their past, present and future asks a clear question either overtly or just internally.  That query or statement will be what spirit and the cards will come into unison to provide a helpful reply to through the depiction of several picture cards.

The picture replies can be read individually but in essential mean that when read along with the whole selection make a full and referenced analysis which is personal and vital to the choices you have to make.  The interpretation is definitive although if the card is positioned in a reverse placement it can mean the reverse to the individual.  I.e if the card shows that impulsive action is required but it is put down by the seeker towards themselves then the symbolism is as supplied but if it is taken out of the deck in the reverse fashion then the opposite is true.  The person should take care and be considering in their next move as impulsive acts will not win out.

The main decision at the prelimary point of any tarot reading can be the contact that you make with the deck.

Each set of cards is precious and is taken care of in a certain fashion by the holder.  Wrapped in a coloured satin and taken out to be given as a tool of guidance and aid.  The touch of the cards by the person who asks something of them is crucial.  It is by holding, separating and picking the one you feel drawn to most that energies can ease their input and the display that is defined will make an impression.

The element of will and how you make your reading a part of what you do in a physical sense is still of course up to the person.  The tarot is there to help, to give insight and foredrawn prediction of what could be.  The fear that may surround this means of aid should not be there as historically it has been an integral crutch and helpful foundation block for many cultures.

The auras and pigments which are found in each picture can have its own meaning.  The associative blend which comes along with valour, motivation, strength or happiness all set a code which adds an individual mode of conversion for that person.

When a reading is done it should correlate with that person.  The interpretation will be one which adds a level of comprehensive aid to a situation.  The information which is provided could just make the difference to you.

A reading done with love, intuitive and carefull will be a revealing and revered basis from which much can be uncovered and understood.

Of course! Many rerades read for themselves. Some people especially in the past suggested people not read for themselves, but in my opinion reading for yourself helps you to learn. I suggest the Rider Tarot Deck (aka The Rider-Waite deck, aka The Rider-Waite-Smith deck). The version I like the best comes in a yellow box with the Magician on the front. Also, The Original Rider Waite Tarot Pack isn’t bad, but again I like the one with The Magician on the cover. However, many rerades will suggest the Rider-Waite-Smith deck because most books speak of it and if they have pictures they are usually of the Rider deck. When getting a deck though make sure it speaks to you the artwork. If the Rider-Waite-Smith deck doesn’t speak to you perhaps you shouldn’t get it. But, Mary K. Greer an advanced Tarot practioner and author suggests the Rider-Waite-Smith deck for those starting out that can’t decide on a deck for themselves. I’ve been reading Tarot for 15+ years and I have numerous decks, but I always go back to the Rider-Waite-Smith deck because I think it gives me the most accurate and clear readings but that’s personal preference.Hope that helps
